A snowy day in Wells, Maine.

Mrs. Cardinal fluffed up against the cold.

An Abominable Snow-Gnome rising from the frozen white.

Lovely, gentle Mourning Doves.

Frost-kissed Azalea leaves.

A Cooper's Hawk that visited the feeders a while back looking for feathered snacks.
Fierce of eye, and so tame I was able to walk outside and snap this photo just ten feet away.

A little lame chickadee we nurtured through the winter. He stayed until Spring, and then was gone forever.

Snow art.

Sharing the spoils.

Red Squirrel Nutkin.

Junco tracks in the snow.
