These photos all date from about six or seven years ago.

Fritillaria flowers blooming in the woodland garden.

Anemone nemerosa; this is a rare double version that dates from the 1600's.

Wonderful old trucks I have dug out of the garden beds over the years. I now have a fleet of them!
These huge bearded Irises smell just like grape popsicles. They are so top-heavy that the rain often causes them to flop.
Hymenocallis, or Spider Lily. Sorry about the photo-shop look to the photo.

Andean Bromeliad swallowing innocent babies. Oh, the humanity!
Good little Dutch Boy guarding a tiny Fuschia.

An explosion of Gaillardia!

Gorgeous Salpiglossis sounds like a disease, but looks like a stained-glass-window.

A tiny skipper butterfly feeding at a Gazania.

Any even tinier Skipper resting on a Canna leaf.

Beloved Lavatara.

Annual favorite, monardanella, or Stopped bee balm.

My partner Roger eating a helpless puppy. They are quite tasty.
