The side garden in Spring.
A nice clump of Narcissi.

Tulips never last more than a season due to vole depredation.

Like a Tiffany lamp shade, this Frittilaria meleagris glows in the sun.

Sweet, tiny Anemone blanda.

Narcissus "Hawera".

Gentle, white version of the Frittilaria.

Crocus with gold hidden in it's cup.

Lovely tulip the color of a sunset.

One of my favorites, 'Salome'

Tawny Cocous in bud.

Iris reticulata, scented delicately of grapes.

Always the first flower of the new year,  Winter Aconite.

These elfin gems bloom under the bay window.

Marching soldiers.

Amber spyglasses.
Snowdrops only last a day when brought indoors to enjoy. They really seem to relish the cold.

Narcissus, "Jetfire".

Some old Narcissus I found by an abandoned cellar hole.

Chionodoxa luciliae, or 'Glory of the Snow'.
