Dramatic Platycodon, or Balloon Flower.
Beloved by hummingbirds, Ipomopsis, or Standing Cypress.
Garden bounty. The thought of this is what gets me through the long New England winters.

Fresh salsa. The lime juice is the only thing that didn't come from the garden.

All of the hard, sweaty work is worth it in February when I open a jar of pickled sunshine.

Flowers of the native Trumpet Creeper.

The squash blossoms are huge banquet halls for a myriad of tiny creatures.

The "Spirit of the Sea Dragon" clothed by the vines of Scarlet Runner Beans.

Delicate patterns corroded into a giant saw blade.

The creepily mottled flesh of the Amorphophallus konjac, an exotic aroid.

A more comprehensive view.

My lovely Eucomis in bloom.

Lavatera, "Silver Queen".

Ipomoea "Batik".

Deeply fragrant Oriental lilies.

Belamcanda chinensis, or Blackberry Lily, so-called due to the blackberry-like seed clusters in bears in the fall.
