Preserving the bounty from the vegetable garden.

I can't stop taking photos of Morning Glories.
An unusual Tigridia blossom. They're from Mexico, and in Latin America the Jaguar is called El Tigre.

Here you can see where they get their Genus name.

Cimicifuga flowers, although now the Genus is lumped with the Actea.

Gorgeous Canna.

A Dahlia I grew from seed.

Bees swarm the Dahlias late in the season. These photos were taken at the end of September before the first frost.

Busy, busy Bumble Bee.

Quit hoggin' that flower!

Zaluzianskya, or Night Phlox. They smell just like Jumbo Circus Peanuts. (The candy, not the band).
Intense red Japanese Maple leaves glow in the late autumn sunshine.

The chicken run is over-run with Clematis tangutica.

Nosy Ms. Barred Rock!
